thegodfaza
I am using the C:\chain0 method to boot. I want to edit Darwin's boot loader so I don't have to select OS X twice. I have tried editing the /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.Apple.Boot.plist and adding <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>rd=disk0s2</string> to the file. It didn't work. I either want to make OS X the default OS for the loader or take windows off the list. cbmkgd
I recommend you make your osx partition active, so that you only use the darwin bootloader. thegodfaza
I prefer the chain0 method because when I remote boot my computer I want it to boot into windows. cbmkgd
I've found an 'old' thread (well, last july) where someone had given a way to do it. Didn't work for me, but it may be because I had an old bless, or because my Win was on an ntfs partition. Maybe it'll work for you: Windows as default os in darwin bootloader (by Schweppes) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/64947-edit-darwin-bootloader/#findComment-460238 Share on other sites
