henky
Hello all, I have mac 10.4.4 installed, now I know how to upgrade to 10.4.9 but how do I update my kernel? Some hardware is working strange (for example my sigmatel 9X stutters when multiple sounds are played) I haven't found a tutuorial on how to update my kernel can anyone point me in the right direction? or as I said in the title, is the newest (8.8.1) kernel included with the 10.4.9 update? thank you
thestevo
We're past the 8.8.1 kernel. The best thing is to have an install disc in case you ever need it. I would download Uphuck v1.4r3 and then do an upgrade from that. Then you'll have a disc you can reinstall with if you need it. Furthermore, it just is easier.
