I remember reading somewhere that the Apple Cinema Displays had a problem displaying the Bios on a PC. Can anyone confirm this. I would like to get a Cinema Display for my Hackintosh. Has anyone on here succesfully hooked one up to their hackintosh?

ACD 23" can be picky about showing POST screen (BIOS screen) with some gfx-cards, but it works fine when gfx-card driver loads.

Cards I have tried:

ATI x800xt pe = no post

ATI x1900xt = no post

Nvidia 7600gt = shows post

Nvidia 8800gtx = shows post

I have a pair of Apple 20" ADC see through cinema displays and a pair of 17" studio ADC displays and both work fine on hackintoshes via Apple DVI/ADC converters. No problems whatsoever. This is with a Nvidia 7900 GTX 512 softstrapped to Quadro FX 5500 card. I have used many Nvidia cards, inc 7600GT, 7300GT but have not tried ATI.
