Technobob
I know when you first install the first screen you see is for language so maybe that is were it's setup. Try loading the install disk and have a look then restart your system it won't affect your install. Pierre
If the translation for the Brazilian Portuguese (and others) are just quiet good as it was for me who selected Swedish it is a happy thing to use. But some times it´s like we say in Sweden "Buy the pig in the bag", you don´t know what you get, and then you start use it you feel sorry that you diden`t took the english version. *Edit* I forgot something so i add it now.. just a point of wiew. If one chooses his or hers native language (and it´s not english) it brings a small problem what can bring to the calculation. That is it get´s harder to sitt with failure messengers and try to translate them in english so you could get some help in places like this. That goes for guides written in english to you sitt and wonder what meny option X name might be in your language... and so on. */Edit* Edited January 4, 2006 by Pierre Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/6392-choice-of-language/#findComment-39899 Share on other sites

Pierre
10.4.3 and Swedish is the only i tryed and worked well. If another language is chosend a startup problem for itunes will arise. To take care of that you rename the language file for your language and copy the english file and rename the copy to the same name as your chosen langugage file was named before you renamed it. itunes then will start but "talk" english.
