USB Drives & .dmg images won't mount since 10.4.10 Update

I have recently built a Intel Mac based on a DFI infinity P965 Dark mobo and dual core 2160 cpu.

 

The intial install was from a JAS 10.4.8 install disk, with the Netkas 4.10.10 update applied

 

Everything on the board is working OK except USB drives no longer mount (they used to in 10.4.8) and .dmg files won't mount unless i load and unload the kext.

 

Any ideas how to solve this would be appreciated.

Intel Dual Core 2160 (overclocked to 3,0ghz)

2gb Geil 6400 Ram

Saphire HD2600 Pro

Maxtor 250gb Sata 2 drive

X Bench Score 112

Dual booting with Vista under Vista Bootloader
