Newbie Here Help Needed

Hi

 

I just installed uphuck_10.4.9_v1.4i_r2 it works but not properly

 

First is that i want to run logic Studio but it says i need a Quartz Extreme card to install the program i have a ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (R350) 128 mb Video Adapter so what do i need to do to get this working?

 

Next i have a Pioneer 106D dvd writer it works but god it burns so slow any way of speeding it up?

 

Also when i choose About my Mac the screen goes blank then comes back to default screen so i cant get to see any of my system info
