Animazing
Is there an application of some sort which can detect your sound chipset? My Acer Aspire 5720 says it has a "Realtek High Definition Audio" chipset but i was expecting some kind model number to go with that. It's kind of difficult to install drivers for my brand new osx installation without knowing what to install. Regards

agent-squirrel
I Have the same notebook and so far sound drivers have not been Released for the ALC268 codec that it uses . Though by the looks of things the Apple HDA topic that Taruga is heading up, may be able to shed some light on the situation.
