~pcwiz
Hi, I have installed Uphuck 1.4iR3 on my system (specs below in signature). For my LAN (Internet), I am currently working with the Intel Pro 100 VE driver found on the Uphuck disc, which is meant for Intel 8255x chipsets. Its working OK on my 82540EM LAN chipset, but there is a tiny random issue where the Ethernet sort of "goes to sleep" while in OS X and the internet stops working. To get the LAN back up, I have to boot Windows to give the Ethernet a "wake-up call". Because of this small issue, I was wondering if there is a driver specifically for the 82540 series Intel LAN chipset. And for all of you who may be wondering, I have disabled all Sleep features in OS X. Thanks in advance pcwiz Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/63589-driver-for-intel-82540em-gigabit-lan/ Share on other sites
