conjure1
Hi, My scanner driver is written for Mac classic OS9 and I cant get it to run on my OSX. Is there a universal patch so the Mac detects my scanner no matter what its specs r? If no, can I run this classic-written software on OS X? Thanx
bluedragon1971
Classic Mac apps can't be run on Intel Macs (or Hacintoshes) without running them in an emulator (the only one I know of that runs OS 9 is SheepShaver). You might want to look for a program called VueScan though. It supports many different scanners not natively supported by OS X.

conjure1
I tried it today but it didnt work. I can run an entire system it seems but not a specific file. I only have one file, an hqx file, so I can't run it with Sheepshaver and neither with PearPC. But thanx for the tips

conjure1
it seems there is something called sane drivers that support lots of scanners. http://www.sane-project.org/
