priyaradha
Okay so i am not a total newbie to the scene, i used to have a hackintosh on my desktop, but since i started college i think i want to go mobile now. Here is th specs of my laptop, please advice it this would work. I am not going to be running this on the same hard drive, i am going to use an external one, so i am not worried about chain0 and stuff. Specs: HP Pavilion dv6500t * Intel® Core 2 Duo processor T7700 (2.40 GHz, 4 MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB) * 15.4" WXGA High-Definition HP BrightView Widescreen Display (1280 x 800) * 2GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm)! * 383MB NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS * Intel® PRO/Wireless 4965AGN Network Connection and Bluetooth * 160GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive * SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-R/RW with Double Layer Support My main concern, is the Nvidia Geforce 8400GS, i know there's macvidia out there, but i remember on my desktop computer, when i used an Nvidia GFC, i couldn't get idvd to create sideshow's, so i had to switched to ATI. *No i dont want to use VMWare Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/63046-hp-dv6500t-work/ Share on other sites
