OK, here is my situation. I have two iMacs, a 17" Intel and a 17" G4 (I just can't see to getting rid of my little lamp!!). I want to see how fast leo will work on the G4, I partitioned my Intel, restored it on one of the Intel Partitions, but I can't get it to install. Any ideas?? The G4 won't even start up off of the Intel in Firewire mode??

Thanks

u cant install from an intel to ppc or ppc to intel, the partitioning scheme intel macs use will not let u boot it off of the g4 imac, ur gonnna need to burn a disk or reformat the imac g4''s hard drive. it should run very fast :)

I ran into this problem myself with Tiger recently. The Intel's use a GUID partition table, and the PPC doesn't recognize those for startup. Same is true...Same is true for Intel, won't recognize anything on a PPC partition table for startup.
