hatoncat
TTP4 is now a universal binary once updated to version 4.1.1 or higher. I found it odd that this did not make their release notes... but here's why. You do get the traditional "this hardware model has not been tested warning", which usually is dismissed. Not on the ADP, that's for sure. All options are blank, you can't even toggle over to Tests, Performance, etc, in fact, the app is quite useless in its current state. I suspect this is for one of two reasons: 1) The app detects that it does not have tests for Intel systems (video cards, processor, etc) and simply locks out all tests as a protective measure... or. 2) (Most likely) A lot of the supporting apps and kexts that TTP (in my opinion, doesn't really need) are still in PowerPC and only the frontend is in Intel. In fact, browsing through the app confirms that all supporting files are still PowerPC only, and thus, will cause Rosetta to balk since plug-in code has to be in Intel to work with a UniBin. Bottom line: Just because an app says Intel/Universal in the Info box doesn't mean it actually is, save your install time for other apps until TTP compiles itself together.
