Nevadabob
Hi, i'm trying to qaud boot my pc with xp,vista, ubuntu and osx86. Myproblem lies in my bootloader. It's very messy. what I can do: - I have grub loader coming up first, the ubuntu entries and the xp entries work. I tried adding osx but that gives me an error. - when I click on windows xp Pro. It brings me to my vista bootloader which I tried configuring with easy bcd. From this I can boot vista and xp. os x does'nt work. It gives me a chain error message. What I wanted to know was whether there is any way to get rid of the grub loader at the start and get rid of the chain error when I try to boot up os x through vista loader. any help would be greatly appreciated! lord_muad_dib
a first step would be say us the error, and a good second one would be to post your grub conf
Nevadabob
Sorry about the lack of information. Well, I managed to remove the grub loader so i'm now using just the vista bootloader. Xp and Vista boot up fine. When I select Ubuntu the PC restarts and when I try Mac os x I get chain booting error.
