mr_christer
hey guys, i hope somebody has a hint for me. i installed uphuck 1.4 for amd. I have an nforce 3 chipset so i chose agpgart 1.2 i have a Asus 7600gs so i chose to install the natit driver (you have to install either titan or natit otheriwse the os will not start with this release) further i have amd x2 4200+. natit is working fine and my graphics card support CI and QE right from start (great work uphuck) in this version i don't seem to have dual core support. does anyone else have this problem? But how do I get my native resolution of 1680x1024 ? At the moment in display settings i have only 4:3 resolutions... (a lot of them with different herz settings) any help would be appreciated! thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/61515-uphuck-14a-no-widescreen-no-dual-core/ Share on other sites
jl8080
You can write a command somewhere which will change the resolution for you. The 16:9 resolution you mean is 1680x1050 isnt it? EDIT: just found the command. For resolution modify your com.apple.Boot.plist and add these strings: <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>"resolution here"x"colour depth here"@"refresh rate here"</string> EG: <string>1680x1050x32@85</string> Regarding your dual core problem, I have no idea - sorry. My only suggestion would be to try a different patched dvd.
