weirdlookinguy
I'm looking at buying an EVGA GeForce 6200 256MB graphics card for my Intel 845G Chipset PC. Here's the link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814130233 Here's the specs of my PC: HP 753n (MSI Motherboard, 200W PSU) Intel 845G Chipset 1GB of RAM 300GB Seagate HDD It runs OSX86 beautifully, but my Integrated GFX are not supported at all. Would the Graphics Card I am considering be fully supported as in QE and CL? Would resolution switching be supported? Also, what about dual monitors? Thanks a lot, --weirdlookinguy Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/61469-will-this-graphics-card-be-fully-supported/ Share on other sites
weirdlookinguy
Come on guys, help me out here. I know you all hate noobs who ask questions like this but I'm a student and can't spend money trying many cards, and my parents are buying it online for me so I can't return it (they will get pissed at me and not let me buy another one) so once I buy it, I am stuck with it which is why I need some confirmation that it will work. SDRacer48
Simply put, yes. It seems that all 6200 will work with the titan/natit patch. 10.4.8 HCL take this link here: click save it to your favorites/bookmarks. weirdlookinguy
Thank you very much for the reply! However, I have found a PowerColor ATI Radeon 9600PRO for only $6 more and I've been told it's much better for Windows Gaming, something I really want to do as well. According to this http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...Ti_2Radeon_9600 CI/QE and resolution switching are supported on the Radeon 9600 Pro AGP PowerColor. Here's the link to the actual card I want to buy: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814131227 Will it work as good as the NVidia? I don't want any artifacting if possible. Thank´s a lot greetings herbi Well, I have used the Jas Install, but it should be the same with the uphuck. All you need to do is download the kext from various places on this forum. Just search for Titan or Natit, it looks like either one will work for your card. Here is an installer: Installer, it may work on your setup. If the installer works don't worry about downloading the kext. Um, thats pretty much it. If it works great. If it doesn't, post on the forum and someone will help you.
