sonico67
According to the guide its best to get those because they have been patched but for some reason I cant get the OS to start after installation, is there any other release that will work the same? Scorpio123
Well to be honest, i haven't had much success with uphuck, but i know a lot of people have.. It all depends on your specs really, but on my HP dv1000 GMA900 SSE2, JaS 10.4.8 works best... If you have an SSE3 processor, JaS has a 10.4.9 version as well.. BJMoose
Tubgirl, JaS, Uphuck are all reliable if you have the system specs for them. Tubgirl and Uphuck are a little more specific in that recently their releases are taylored to particular processors (e.g. AMD and Intel).

Davejb
If one doesn't work for you try another. I used uphuck 10.4.9 ir2 on my Asus P4P800-E and it worked perfectly, tried to use it to install on an Asus P5L-vm 1395 and kept getting an error that I must restart everytime I booted from the DVD. Tried a copy of jas 10.4.6 I had and it worked perfectly.
