richandy
Hi, I am trying to get frontrow to play Xvid file in 10.5 (the newest update) but to no avail. I installed perian and nothing. Xvid plays well in quicktime. What can I do to sort this? Thanks in advance. hazkid
While Tiger's FR can play any file opened in QT (it uses quicktime player) it seems that Leo's FR can only open iTunes-formatted files. I think your best bet would be to use QTPro to save your AVI movies at QT reference movies. If you don't have QTPro (I strongly recommend purchasing it, it was the best $30 I ever spent) the are applescripts that will wrap your avi/mkv files in the .MOV container. I believe there is one called QTReferenceMovie, but I don't know if i have the name right. HackerName
Works fine for me. Doesn't generate previews for them though. Sad.And for some reason many of my TV shows show up as "Various" and some podcasts as "Unknown Album". Any idea why? richandy
Nope, I am trying to figure it out myself. It could be that FR is like ATV in some case.
