ArkaPro
OK I just installed Uphack's 10.4.9 v1.3 Check my sig for specs. I attached pics of the system I need you guys to have a quick look and tell me if its OK. CPU is it OK that its "unknown"? memory is 4GB but it didnt recognize the company and model.. should it? is there a good test/benchmark proggie for me to check the installation and hardware, and see that it runs propely with full perfomance? Please check them pics (why the "CoreDueTemp" prog reports that I have only 1.5GHz?) Thanks! samstre
ok! i've found a workaround.. i've installed 792.18.15-SSE3-netkas-64bitFix kernel... but CoreDuoTemp still shows 1.5Ghz... but i think this is a bug... Core2Duo has a 266 mhz FSB. in my case (E6600) that is 266MHZ FSB X 9 (Multi) = 2400 MHZ... The old CoreDuo has a 166 mhz FSB... so 166 X 9 = 1500.. that means that CoreDuoTemp only reads out the multi... <- because EIST (Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology) lowers the multi to set the clockspeed! so everything is fine :D Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/61113-a-proper-test-and-benchmark/#findComment-433787 Share on other sites
