Schizophrenia
Hello. I'm trying to install Mac OS X, but like a lot of other peoples, I have the problem where the installation can't recognise my harddrives. Most of the other people i've seen experiencing this problem has Sata drives, but my drive is ATA, connected with IDE cable. How can I solve this problem? :/ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/61030-cant-find-harddrives-ide/ Share on other sites

capybara
ive got the same prob. the workaround: everytime u boot up, go to the bios, it will say "primary master not detected." click on that. now itll say "new drive detected, please reboot." yes, i go thru this on every bootup! but problem solved, eh?
