bsm99
If you have an external USB DVD-drive, you can install the "Mac OS X 10.4.9 Intel SSE3 [JaS 10.4.8 AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2.iso + JaS.10.4.9.Combo.Update.Intel.SSE3.zip]" version. Set the SATA mode to AHCI, the SATA Port 0-1 native mode to DISABLED. Boot from USB DVD-drive, and install I use the official Realtek 8111 lan driver. ftp://61.56.86.122/cn/nic/RTGMac_v1.1.6.zip After installation and update, change the /System/Library/Extensions/AppleVIAATA.kext/Contents/Info.plist file: <key>VIA SATA Controller</key> <string>0x2368197b</string> After this you can use an IDE DVD-ROM connected to JMicron IDE controller. charlienail
If you have an external USB DVD-drive, you can install the "Mac OS X 10.4.9 Intel SSE3 [JaS 10.4.8 AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2.iso + JaS.10.4.9.Combo.Update.Intel.SSE3.zip]" version. Godowski
yes, I am using USB DVD, and the bios is set to AHCI. (don't have in bios enable sata 0-1) I did clean install but after install mac os doesn't boot. I use USB DVD for setup disk, and only one SATA drive. I setup one partiton - all disk for mac os, but after installation and reboot I got message that there is not boot device, I try to set active partition using terminal and fdisk, but after that I got only blinking cursor at boot. I install XxX 10.4.10 distribution with recommended patches and again without checked-selected anything. Should I use JAS, XxX, Kalyway and what shoud I select?
