Pro Tools under 10.4.10?

Hi. I'd like to ask for a friend. He asks if Pro Tools will work flawlessly with 10.4.10:

 

1) Can it be upgraded using software update to Mac Tiger 10.410? So I

can run the latest iWork 08.

 

2) Is this considered an intel mac? I plan to use applications that

run under the original Mac intel CPUs.I have a recording studio, this

will be used for Pro Tools, a lot of plug-ins.

 

I assume he pro tools meant video editors and their plug-ins and such like: Final Cut 2, Shake 4.1, Roxio Popcorn 2, Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium, Adobe Photoshop CS 3, Flash CS3, Dreamweaver CS3, Adobe Fireworks CS3, WebObject 5.1, latest XCode, etc.
