henry
hi, i installed Jas 10.4.7 on a hp dv5237cl laptop that has 1.8GHz intel core duo, 2GB RAM, on intel chipset (mo-board and wireless) my problem is that the usb port works only if i plug in a mouse before i boot into osx86. if i unplug it with osx running the system won't recognize it. and it doesn't seem to support usb-ide hard drives, and also thumb drives too. any ideas on where i can get the drivers would be greatly appreciated. thanks. gimpyviper
This is the same prob I had with my machine which is NF4 based. I had to plug my keyboard in via usb. If any Ps2 device was attached no USB functionality. The trackpad/point is prob PS2 based. Theres supposed to be a patch in here to get a PS2 keyboard w/ USB mouse working... gimpyviper
Question for you - When you do boot with the mouse plugged in and have USB working properly, can you reboot? Or can you only shutdown?
