basically ANY FireWire or USB2 case is going to work. inside, they're just normal IDE or SATA drives, so save yourself a packet and buy an enclosure and drive separately.

personally, i use a QCool OTG, which also has a multiformat card reader built in, which can optionally copy flash cards to a FAT32 partition on the HDD without being connected to a computer. great for when you're out and about with a camera and you run out of space on your card. works perfectly as a USB2 hard disk too (yes, even HFS+ etc). i got it off ebay.

have a look at http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/USB-2-0-OTG-digital-...bayphotohosting

thats not exactly the same as mine, but there were various versions. a review is located at:

i highly recommend it. its cheap and cheerful, but it works :D

EDIT: Ok, sorry, just realised you said 3.5'' only. But remember 3.5 is going to requrie a power supply, whereas 2.5'' can be bus-powered. Anyway, for 3.5'' enclosures, any of them will let you use HFS+, and most (if not all) should let you boot from firewire.
