mazataza Posted August 10, 2007 Share Posted August 10, 2007 ################################################ use (Mac OS X 10.4.8 Jas for Intel AMD SSE2+SSE3 with PPF1+PPF2) I have the following machine: Core 2 Duo E6600, Conroe, 2x 2400 MHz, 4MB Cache, 1066MHz FSB Nvidia 6600 GT 128 MB AGP ASRock 4CoreDual-VSTA, VIA PT880 Ultra, PCIe, AGP, S-ATA, Raid (Motherboard) 2 ATA (IDE) hardisk ################################################# I have tried this path : ################################ 10.4.10 Mac OS X update for hackintosh ***************** Automatic install ***************** MacOSXUpd10.4.10AMD.mpkg.zip - Update package for AMD MacOSXUpd10.4.10Intel.mpkg.zip - Update package for INTEL ---- (Both packages comes with 8.10.1 kernel + decrypter) ---- **************************** Manual install requirements: **************************** mach_amd - 8.10.1 xnu kernel (amd/intel/sse3/noNX/hpet/autofsb) mach_intel - 8.10.1 xnu kernel (intel/sse3/noNX/hpet/autofsb) dsmos.kext - binary decrypter Don't forget to backup your extensions!!!! ######################################## after reboot, Darwin restart before the Appel Screen come. mazataza Posted August 10, 2007 Author Share Posted August 10, 2007 I just now playing with the installation until I found the best compination and then I reinstall it as I want. then I will not made updates as I do now. another reason I want to buy in feature a PCIe Nvidia 8600 GTS. the upcoming driver for it will only work with 8.10.1 kernel as i read somewhere here.
