nekton
The Airport Extrme card under the right speaker in the 24" Core2 Duo iMac can be easily removed and swapped into a MacPro without Airport. The hardest part is not getting the card out of the iMac but is getting antenna connectors 2 and 3 from the back of the Pro motherboard connected to the card and then getting it mounted behind drive 2 on the motherboard. I found sharpened chopsticks were good for handling the fine antenna cables and postioning them over the very small snap connectors on the card before pressing them home. It was an irritatingly fiddly job though and I guess it is why Apple says this is not a user-servicable part.
