Raaschou
I've found a kext (from Apple Darwin) that works with my ethernet card (Broadcom). Where do I add it, and make OSX use it? svrider1000
What is the name of the kext file? I need that one also. I think it would go somewhere in \System\Library\Extensions but I am not sure. Raaschou
You can find the kext in Apple Darwin 7 (located at http://www.opendarwin.org/ ). It's called "AppleBCM5701Ethernet.kext.tar.gz" It should work (according to "some guy" how made it work on his) on most Broadcom chipsets in the BCM57xx line... jrrjrr
I think you will find that a kext needs to be recompiled from source against the kernel you want to run it with, in order for it to have a chance of even loading. But keep us posted, because I hope I am wrong in this case.
