Wayland
Download Carbon Clone Copy 2.3 (You can google it, don't get lazy on me already) Download Pseudo 1.2.3 (Google it, maybe put Mac in the string to find it) Ok, after you have installed the Deadmoo image onto a drive, and do whatever you want to it run Pseudo. What this allows you to do is run Carbon Clone Copy at the root level and get all those files you don't really see sometimes. You run Carbon Copy by draging the icon into the Pseudo window like it says to do. Your Secondary drive that you would like to copy to (and be your main hard drive, like a 200 gig or so) make sure it is partitioned and formated using the disk utility in your applications folder. After you have formated it and partitioned it, you are ready to go. Run Carbon Copy and copy your base drive (that the image was installed to) onto that big new hard drive. Make sure you click make bootable in the preferences, but it should be on there default. Now comes the last step that most people forget. Go into your system preferences and click the startup icon. Then select your new main drive. TAda!!! Make sure when you re-boot that you actually select the new drive to boot off of. Now you have a big hard drive and you're good to go. What I have done in the past is re-partition and format that original imaged drive so you can have another drive in there if you like. *****Disclaimer: This worked with the two systems I have programed without any flaws, not guaranteed for everyone, but you can sure use this as a reference. Now wasn't it nice not having to type and code It's probley not the best best way to do things, but here is a huge benefit. Say you have a Sata drive, and you really want to use it, but it's not found when you try to install the image of deadmoo or whatever.... well you install all those kexts you need after you image a good old trusty ata drive, and then transfer it all over. Then you can take that old ata drive out if you want and keep it as a backup or whatever you want to do with it. Groovy? Two disks I know works, I don't think two partitions will work due to the simple fact that you can't switch the boot off of the bios settings. You can't tell the computer to boot off of the second partion very easily. There are little boot sectors and things that it looks for. You can probley get a 6 gig hard drive off e-bay for like 5 dollars, so that may be an option, and cheap too!
