ChrisLKirby Posted December 8, 2005 Share Posted December 8, 2005 ok, I downloaded the Install 10.4.3 DVD. I also have patched the kernels. Here is what I did, hopefully someone can help. I opened the DMG in ultraISO. I then added the patched kernels in the root folder (ie. mach_kernel_sse2) Then I resave the ISO and burn it, but it isnt bootable!! What am I doing wrong. I tried copying the bootinfo from the original DMG and applying it to the final ISO but when the CD boots, all I get is an "E" in the top left corner. What is the correct way to put the patched kernels on the DVD using Windows? JaS Posted December 9, 2005 Share Posted December 9, 2005 Well first thing is you should always use the dmg as a base for converting iso that you will patch from.Never edit the dmg itself as then you will not have the porper iso to use ppf patches and such on.Also you need to convert the dmg to iso with unltraiso 7.6.1.125 or above.
