carmelo42
Hello. I have an Acer Aspire laptop, with a SATA HDD. I can install OS X on an external HDD. Can I "restore" the install of OS X on the external disk to a partition on my internal SATA disk ? How can I do this ? thank you ! T4RZ4N
Look for Legacy Mode for your SATA in BIOS. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/55121-sata-hd-non-visible/#findComment-394651 Share on other sites

stacman
You could look up the specs on your laptop, find what SATA controller it uses, and see if there's a driver available for it by googling.
