wood_e
So my install of JaS 10.4.8 w/ semthex 8.8.1 worked well except I am missing my onboard LAN (Intel 10/100VE) and my sound (Realtek HD audio). The machine is an eMachines T3612 3.45ghz celeron 1.5gb ram 120GB SATA (perfect!) intel 945g chipset GMA 950 graphics (CI & QE enabled!) Pretty solid xbench #s too - averaging 96.5 and a geekbench score of 1935 Anyway this machine came with Vista home basic on it and besides being SLOW I have been poking around trying to find the device IDs for my audio and NIC. Here's what i have... HD audio Hardware IDs HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0883&SUBSYS_107B7201&REV_1000 HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0883&SUBSYS_107B7201 NIC hardware id PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1094&SUBSYS_7201107B&REV_01 PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1094&SUBSYS_7201107B PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1094&CC_020000 PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1094&CC_0200 Do those look even remotely right? Anyone know for SURE how to get the info I need in Vista? What's the next step I have to take here? Also my USB doesn't work in OSX either. Only PS/2 works for whatever reason. Any clues? Thanks in advance!
sarahbau
The audio looks like it's the RealTek ALC883, which should work with drivers (just do a search on this forum). The network card is the intel 10/100VE, but you knew that already
