NoRemorse
Hi All, I have seen many threads on this problem, however most of them are to do with cdrom drive or ata controller incompatabilty. The computer is a Dell with an onboard sata raid controller, and even though I only have one drive, I get this error. Some posts suggest enabling LEGACY mode for SATA but my bios does not have this option. I have also tried installing OSX86 on a drive with another PC that I know it works on, then putting that drive in the Dell, but I still get the same error. Any suggestions most welcome!. NoRemorse
I forgot to say it is a ICH8 82801HR/HH/HO SATA RAID controller
BlueFalcon7
I'm not too knowledgeable with Mac OSX, but I sort of know what I am doing. I havent heard any stories of RAID working. You might want to somehow try to install Mac OS X on VMware, and installing drivers first. I'm not exactly sure how it would be done, or if it is possible. Good luck
