sarahbau Posted June 6, 2007 Share Posted June 6, 2007 I've been using this X800 in my Hackintosh for over two months, and it has worked very well for me. Quartz Extreme and Core Image are supported, and I'll even include the already modified kexts to make installation easy. The only downsides to this are that I wasn't able to get dual monitors working on it, and it had the mouse tearing problem, but that's easily fixed with Mighty Mouse. Other than that, it's perfect in games, video, etc. As you can see from this chart, the X800GTO is about the same speed as an X1650 Pro, so it's no slouch. I have the original box still, and can also include the games it came with (XIII, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, and something else).
