tedg007
ive tossed deadmoos copy on my blank hard drive more times than i can count, using each method. Each and every time i do this i boot into darwin and if i dont do -v it shows the osx logo and the spinning thing, and then after about a minute and a half a circle comes up with a slash through it and that stays there indefinately. Everything runs perfectly in VMware, My hardware setup is as follows: AMD FX53, the hd im trying to install on is an 80 gb wd, MSI Neo3 Platinum Mobo, 1gb Corsair Ram. My hds are SATA, so im not sure if that is what is causing the problem. I have seen that tons of other people are having this problem and i just need someone to point me in the right direction. Thanks Ted Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/529-still-looking-for-root-device/ Share on other sites
