beheivjer
I found a osx 10.1 install cd for a powermac and was wondering if that would work on an older ibook clambook. Its for my daughter to get on the internet with and would like to get the wireless and some other software working but i need to have osx on it for the things she wants to do
jjduro
What kind of clamshell do you have? I bought mine in 1999, a Boundi iBook, and I was able to install OSX 10.3.9 Panther. Put the CD (Yes, CD) in the drive, formated the HD, and installed. And that's it. It works really great. (the apps are just a just a bit slow, but the OS is really fast)
beheivjer
Im not sure how old it is its for my 9 yr old but i did put ram in it so thats at 192mb so i think i should be ok but was unsure if the install cd would work even if it is for a powermac.
