Okay so I only made it 64gbs when I installed.

I tried copying all of the files over to another partition and boooting off of that, no go.

Can I make the original partition larger without destroying what's on it? Or do I have to create a new partition and reinstall EVERYTHING?

As far as I know you could only make the partition smaller with some Linux live cd's, but not bigger.

You could make a new install in other drive/partition and use the migration assistant included in OSX. I never done that thou.....

Use Disk Utility to copy it to another partition. Verify the new one boots and format the old one.
