lapointe34
Hi guys, I'm running a system with a Pentium 4 2.8 GHz HT Northwood SSE, SSE2 ready cpu, an Asus P4P800-VM MB, and ATI Radeon X1600 XT 512. I'm trying to install Mac os 10.4.6 (I bought it) and install installed it with the SSE and Intel patches. The install was a complete success! I basically have 2 Hard disks, my 80 Gig SATA, and my 10 gig IDE (I installed Mac to the IDE one.) I currently have no sound support? is there somewhere I can find drivers or something. I trying to use Analog devices Sound max?
R0GUE
I, as well as many others have had the same problem. Best thing to do is spend a few hours searching as this topic has been covered several times before. However, I'll point you to the topic that helped me get mine fixed. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...amp;hl=soundmax
BlackCH
I can send U the kexts...... But im not shure if it would work with the 10.4.6 otherways you can edit it yourself...... BTW, only stereo output from the pink plug. http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Audio it really worth to update to 10.4.8 + 8.8.1 kernel at least. You would have better support for your harware, specially for your graphic card. Well, there is it, just in case..... to mods: I dont know if I can post such a file here, if not please remove it AsusP4800VmAudio.zip
