Hi all,

I've a problem with ATI Mobility Radeon X1300 on HP nc6400 Laptop. The screen is completely scrambled... MacOs is working behind, the mouse icon is perfetc, but lines and pixels are completely scrambled.

The nc6400 is a Intel Core2 (SS3). The device ID of the video card is 0x714A

To install is I followed this procedure:

* Installed JaS 10.4.8 on a VMWare image (flat disk)

* upgraded to 10.4.9 http://netkas.freeflux.net/blog/archive/20...date-guide.html

* kernel 8.9.1 universal (the one suggested in the above guide)

* Installed also NatitX1300 (http://diabolik1605.com/DHF/iATi.html)

If hosted on VMWARE 6 the video works great

I then copied the flat image on the PC following http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...le_And_Accurate.

At the beginning the screen was completely black, I had to plug in an external monitor to see some colored pixels (the paperclip dongle solution works too).

But when I boot the screen image is "dirty"

Soing into single user mode (-x -s -v) and executing sh /etc/rc I found both Natit and NatitX1300 detect the video card, Titan complains "Could not make a display match".

I also edited ATIRadeonX1000.kext adding my devide id but nothing changes.

Things doesn't change even if I remove NatitX1300.

I've no more idea... can someone help me?

Thanks,

Paolo
