oliver kardos Posted May 23, 2007 Share Posted May 23, 2007 Hi ! I have 2 partitions on my iMac, last day I needed to create a new user for somebody with no admin permissions. Than i wanted to not to access the second partition from the new user login. I did something very wrong, because, now, that 150 gigs of data is just disappeared for all users. However in the disc utility i can see the partition, when mounted it has a folder like icon, when it's not mounted it hase the original "HDD" icon. In the bottom of the disc utility window i can see the following. Mount Point : /Volumes/DATA 150 Capacity : 157.6 GB (169,260,277,760 Bytes) Format : Mac OS Extended (Journaled) Available : Owners Enabled : No Used : Number of Folders : 0 Number of Files : 0 But there is nothing in the finder.
