Now I don't know why but I can't seem to use JaS 10.4.8 AMD-Intel SSE2/3 install dvd or even any other install dvd. I had previously been able to install and use any OSX86 install dvd with such ease. Now I can't even get past this freeze: 05-14-07_2055.jpg

where there is no more text is where it freezes. Sorry about the {censored} quality I don't have a good camera just my cell phone...

Like I said I have had OSX86 up and running now I can't even get into the install proccess..

Anything at all as for as suggestions???

Cleary, it says : "IO Error"

It has nothing to do with kernel dependancys, as to why this is failing.

It's probably either your media, or the optical drive itself.

Thank you. changing the config of the dvd drive helped me solve this problem. I was able to install 10.4.8 again.

again, thank you
