mc'dreams
Hi, I'm thinking of buying an Intel D945GCLL MoBo. I can't find if it will be good for MacOS. Please, help. Maybe, some articles, or your own experience. I only found that D945 GNTLKR is good. But they're not the same... The second question: should I buy a SATA dvd-rw? Or IDE is ok? Or IDEs don't work principally with MacOS? Thanks! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/50154-intel-d945gcll-mobo/ Share on other sites
Khan_Man
I've done a Intel D945GCL with C2D. Rocks hard and required 3 minor hacks (2 if you live with 950 GMA). U have to add the nic vendor ID and the old sound kext. Everything else works great. Expansion is a bit tight (one PCIe and 2 PCI) and if you use a big PCIe video card one of the PCI is blocked. Also there are only 2 memory slots. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/50154-intel-d945gcll-mobo/#findComment-363828 Share on other sites
