five04
I just built my first hackintosh and everything seems to be going well except for audio. I didn't try audio with 10.4.8 because I almost immediately updated to 10.4.9. I've also updated to the latest 8.9.1 kernel found on the #1049 channel. I then downloaded the ALC882 AppleHDA 0.4b and installed that even though it said it was for 8.8.1 to test it out. I didn't get a kernal panic, but still have no audio. Is there any chance of getting audio from this board with 10.4.9 and the 8.9.1 kernel?
Taruga
Use AppleHDA Patcher v1.16 Get it here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=32859 Then drag and drop the alc882 codec dump into the AppleHDA Patcher icon Good luck
