When i start my computer with the DVD and i choose "hd(31,1) Mac OS X Install Disc x86" its just restarts?! even if i press the F8 key and then Enter my computer restarts... I have tested the DVD on my Laptop (IBM Lenovo T60) and there is no problem to reach the installation and get a complete installed OSx86 system! Here is my PC specification (for COMPLETE specification please read the attached textfile) CPU Type: Intel Pentium 4, 2400 MHz (18 x 133) Motherboard Name: Albatron PX865PE Pro (5 PCI, 1 AGP, 4 DDR DIMM, Audio, LAN) Motherboard Chipset: Intel Springdale i865PE System Memory: 1536 MB (PC2700 DDR SDRAM) BIOS Type: Award (04/04/03) 3D Accelerator: ATI Sapphire Radeon 9600 XT (RV360) Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster 177N/710N/MagicSyncMaster CX701N/CX711N [17" LCD] (HSGXA21814) Audio Adapter: Creative SB X-Fi XtremeMusic/Platinum Sound Card Disk Drive #1: Maxtor 6Y160P0 (160 GB, 7200 RPM, Ultra-ATA/133) Disk Drive #2: ST3200822A (200 GB, 7200 RPM, Ultra-ATA/100) Thank all of you trying to fix my problem! Shredplayer Posted May 4, 2007 Share Posted May 4, 2007 is your Processor SSE3 capable? that happens when using 10.4.8 Intel Only to an SSE2 only processor... try Mac Os X 10.4.8 [Jas AMD-Intel SSE1-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2].iso it will fix that.
