Deucescoop
I just finished building my hackintosh, on a PC and cannot get the Inet to work. I am using10.4.8 osx, on a 1.7 P4 w/a gig of memory. I have the onboard eepro which is not working, I also have a Dlink gig card, I could crack open the case to see the exact model # if needed. I was hoping there was something I could do before I needed to do that, a command or something specific that would just work Any help would be appreciated. success2be
You'll need the Manufacturer ID and Device ID which is reported from Device Manager in Windows. If you know the manufacturer and model number, then you can search the forums and the wiki for possible solutions. Either way, you'll need the Manufacturer ID and Device ID when you customize your KEXT files for your network card.
