maverick_pranav
i own a nx6125 notebook with x200m graphic chipset...i installed callisto drivers..thus getting option change my resolution....then i deleted atindrv.kext..and after that i got significant boost in the graphic rendering..framerate of the visualisation increased from 25-30 fps to 50-60fps..and dvds were also running properly in quicktime...i happened to format and reinstall my pc today.and the bad luck is that i am no longer getting any change in my graphic acceleration..i just messed it up some where but i think it might me a step in a right direction........ another query is after installing callisto drivers why does my vram show 16mb even though i have selected 128 mb in my bios???? please help guys.... errandwolfe
Honestly I would have to question that 50-60 fps. With no Quartz Extreme and no Core Image with only VESA acceleration I highly doubt you would get that number. maverick_pranav
i know its hard to get that kind of fps with vesa acceleration.....i was just messing up with the files...and all i remember is that after deleting atindrv the framerates just shot up...in itunes i checked that and i can surely confirm that..there were constant above 50fps..in the system profiles it showed no qe and ci....but something worked...and it was working for over a week till i formated my pc...i know i messed it up somewhere..but its a step in the right direction thats for sure....!!!!...my gui got a little fast...iphoto..photoshop etc were working faster.... trying to refigure what changes i had exactly done....but still if anyone can help..it would be great!!!.. possible solution to x200 will be up soon...atleast allowing u to work on the softwares with decent speed and also allowing u to watch dvds in their native resolution.... maverick_pranav
can any one tell any possible solution about the vram...i noticed if i install callisto.3 ny vram is shown as 31mb..and if i use callisto.3a4 or callisto.2c it is shown as 16mb..latter two allowing me to change the resolution...but in case of callisto.3 if i change the resolution or change the refresh rate the intire display goes crazy and keeps scrolling up and down...
