TombstoneX
Ok so here is what i have done using the: JAS 10 4 8 OSx86 10 4 8 Patched DVD SSE3 on a 250GB Hard Drive Step 1: Installed Windows XP Step 2: Installed Partition Magic, Partitioned the drive as follows: WinXP (Primary-NTFS 24GB) | OSx86 (Primary-FAT32 24GB) | Storage (Logical-FAT32 200GB) Step 3: Boot to preburned OSX DVD, go through the setup, run disk utility format the OSX VOLUME WITH Mac Journaled, Install Mac OS X Step 4: Reboot, works fine with the Install DVD in the drive, however when i take the disk out and try and boot i get a Disk Read Error, i take it the MBR was wrecked by the OSX install thus the WinXP will not boot, i can fix this, but im clueless to as how to get OSX to boot without the Install DVD in the drive Any feedback would be great. liquid_gabe
I had the same problem. You need to set the partition as the active partition. I used Terminal and followed instructions from elsewhere on this forum.
