Installing from Generic DVD

Hi all

 

I'm new here and I'm trying to get some information on how I go about installing from the DVD. When I try and boot from the DVD I get an error about debugging. How do I get aroung this? I've already got the DVD burned, and (stupidly) have already deleted the .iso file.

 

I've tried reading a bunch of different sites with install instructions, but I can't seem to find one that helps me any. I would like to do this as easily as possible. I had tried downloading the *.bz2 file, but I couldn't get it to unzip properly. Kept quitting at 90+% saying maybe my disk was full.

 

I want to install from the DVD I have already
