loonymonkey
What software is this OSx86 video using, specifically the software that rotates between desktops like a cube. This looks similar to the "Spaces" feature on the next OS. Also, what photo app is being used?
xgportal
He is not using any software for the cube spinning, thats is just fast user switshing, part of OS X. The photo app is iPhoto, part of iLife which comes with new Mac's and can be purchased online or at an apple store for as little as 70 euros. It doesnt seem like an efficent way of using virtual desktop/multi desktops. Do you recommend any software to do this?
xgportal
not that I know of, maybe there are? Or you can wait for Leopard and use Spaces.
Pixel Baker
Actually, that's not fast user switching, although that effect is used for it also. The virtual desktop software being used in the video is VirtueDesktops. You can use key combos to switch between virtual desktops. very nice software.
