knux
Hi, I've installed Darwin 8.0 x86 from the install iso on Apple's webpage but now I want to be able to run the latest Darwin 8.2 and having spent many a happy hour compiling linux kernels I thought I could download the latest Darwin source, configure and compile it. Apparently not though, I can see on Apple's site you can download individual packages for the latest Darwin 8.2 but no all-in-one package. Not to mention I can't find any docs on that site that seem to tell me how to compile Darwin Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'd simply like the most current Darwin if that's possible

wangii
I'm interested in this too. The homework I did last night:http://opendarwin.org/projects/darwinbuild/ Download the script and run, it will upgrade darwin. The problem is I don't know whether the upgrade will damage the OSX, the UI layed above it. Anyone dare have a try?
