dancemc87
Hallo guys, i know you're doing a great job and you are so busy with commenting the other threads, but i would really appreciate getting feedback from you. because i really desperate with this problem and i cant get it fixed on my own. the problem is that i really need to install osx on this machine (specs above in the topic description), you can find it on acer.com as well. this machine is quite new, so it should be able to run osx easily (like my other laptop benq r55 g21 does .... with smaller flaws like missing wlan or sound for example, but thats not, what i wanna ask about)! i have many osx installation dvds .... beginning from 10.4.6 or something like this to 10.4.8, the newest release on ****noid, but none of them works. in fact i have tried several boot parameters like -v or -f, which is suggestes in different topics as the all-in-one solution, but this does not work either. so i hav copied the boot messages from screen to paper and now i will do it for you the other way again, to use any chance to get help of you. i am really desperate and i hope you can help me, i have tried it several times on my own to ensure to not disturb you for nothig! so thanks again for any help i can get from you!! here are the screen messages of the newest release, good luck: hi mem tramps at 0xffe00000 PAE enabled non-INTEL boot process standard timeslicing quantum is 10000 us vm_page_bootstrap: 254748 free pages mig_table_max_displ = 71 Local APIC version not 0x14 as expected Enabling XMM register save/restore and SSE2/SSE3 opcodes ACPI CA 20051117 [debug level=0 layer=0] AppleACPICPU: ProcessorApicId=0 LocalApicId=0 Enabled PASSED! .. maximum protection of compage set ALL Copyright © 1982, 1986, 1989, 1991, 1993 The Regents of the University of California. lenny76
installation on the acer ferrari 4005 is possible. follow instruction to install macosx on notebook with southbridge x200. you have to install it first with vmware, patch a file and then you can boot native. I've not yet tried to install driver for video, audio and wifi. bye Lenny Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/43554-acer-ferrari-4005-turion64-no-install-possible-please-help/#findComment-348938 Share on other sites
