Crashcat
I have installed 10.4.8 on a Toshiba Satellite 5100 Laptop. After much reading I have the NIC working, but I can not seem to figure out how to get the onboard FireWire working. The Firewire chipset is TI TSB43AB22/A from what I have read this is a compatible chipset. I also got the DEV and VEN numbers and have edited the info.plist to match. I think correct but not 100% sure as it is slightly different than the on for the NIC. Firewire TI OHCI Compliant VEN 104C DEV 8023 This is the error I get. FireWire (OHCI): Start = unable to get device memory. Sorry new to this I haveread everything I could find about firewire but can not seem to find an answer to my problem. Any help is greatly appreciated. Th.anks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/42552-toshiba-5100-laptop-firewire-trouble/ Share on other sites
